Original home built PC system
homebrew 11/40 system This is the original PDP-11/40 home built 'system'.
It is a homebrew chassis that houses a complete PC built with the following components. The front is made of an aluminium frame with a dark-red plexiglass bezel. Behind the bezel is an aluminium plate on which the LEDs and the switches are mounted.

By the way, the dimensions of the front are just 36 cm long and 16 cm high. The front is a copy of the console the real PDP-11/35 that I run at home. Here are a few more photographs of this original design.
