The QED-95 is the ultimate PDP-11/70 processor upgrade set at a price tag of approximately $15,000.00 from QED (Quickware Engineering and Design).
The QED-95 is a D|I|G|I|T|A|L UNIBUS-compatible processor that is fully compatible with all PDP-11 UNIBUS hardware and software. The QED-95 addresses 4 Mb of memory and implements the complete PDP-11 architecture, excluding the Commercial Instruction Set (CIS) available only as an option for the 11/23, 11/24 and 11/44 systems. The QED-95 system is designed to replace the complete PDP-11/70 processor and memory. See the board layout diagram, slots 2 thru 22 of the 11/70 processor are empty!
