Updates to the RACAL website of PA8PDP

full view at all RACAL equipment

05/2007 After 3 (!) years, I think it is time to get my RACAL stuff in a working setup. The time of collecting is past, now it is about time to get things operational. The setup as it is now on the picture has changed a lot, and I will take a new picture when I have cleaned up a bit. Even that picture will be something for "the time being". Currently I am working on the "day-to-day" listening setup, which consists of the MA.259 Frequency Standard, an RA.1217 with FSK converter for HAM radio (3 kHz MF), RA.1220 with RA.337 Low Frequency converter and RA.366 panoramic adapter and RA.298 ISB adapter. For now, the content in the folders for the MA.259, RA.337, and RA.366 are finished. Also added is the folder of the MA.295 (which was done a few years ago, but I simply forgot to put it on-line!). I hope to add some content for the RA.1217 and RA.1220 soon ...
01/2004 Best wishes to you all. Check back regularly as I finally have time to update this site.
For starters, I added the RA.63, RA.70, RA.121 and MA.168 folder with information and pictures.
The RA.98 folder now contains a lot more information and pictures.
12/2003 Finally been able to set up my RACAL collection the way I wanted it to be.
Also passed the morse code exam on December 16th, 2003. This was the last morse code exam in The Neterlands. The old HAM callsign, PE1CKF, no longer exists, it is changed into PA8PDP reflecting my other hobby : collecting PDP-11 mini-computers.
08/2003 Added the general description and technical specifications of the following units : MA.143B, MA.174, and MA.210.
None of these units is in my collection :-(
The RA.98D page now contains a list of the functional use of the tubes and an "equivalent" type table.
06/2003  Added the general description and technical specifications of the following units : MA.259G, MA.350B.
05/2003 Added the general description and technical specifications of the following units : MA.79, MA.141, MA.152, MA.175/202, MA.197, RA.63, and RA.98D.   A lot more info on the MA.79 is put in subfolders.
04/2003 Initial lay-out created.
03/2003 The ideas for a RACAL website are getting some form.
